Emile Smith Rowe has played five matches only for Arsenal, but in the five matches Arsenal has failed to win in only one. The creative spark Arsenal had been lacking for the season up until this point has been found in the youngster and the goals have started to come back for the Gunners. To put it into context, Arsenal have scored 23 times this season across 19 games and 11 of those of those goals have come in the 5 matches that Emile Smith Rowe has played, with the youngster chipping in with 3 assists.

Goals come more when Emile Smith Rowe plays and Arsenal should follow that mantra

Emile Smith Rowe got his first Arsenal goal this season when Arsenal defeated Newcastle United in the FA Cup after extra time. In the meantime he has chipped in with 3 assists and Arsenal have won 4 of the 5 last Premier League games he has played. Arsenal were lacking Mesut Ozil’s creativity at the center of the park and now Emile Smith Rowe’s inclusion has solved the problem. While Arsenal are definitely a better team when Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith Rowe play, it is also imperative to understand that they are kids.

Saka and Martinelli are 19 while Smith Rowe is 20 years of age and it must be understood that they shouldn’t be allowed to carry the whole team on their own. This is where the experienced players like Aubameyang, Lacazette, Bernd Leno and Thomas Partey must hold their weight and ensure that the youngsters develop without any pressure on them. Arsenal have got a very young squad with this trio, Kiernan Tierney, Dani Ceballos, Reiss Nelson and Gabriel and each of them need to develop without any pressure.
