Arsenal vs Liverpool: Arsenal squared off against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.

Arsenal gave it their all but it was Diogo Jota again who gave Liverpool the advantage. The task of a comeback was made near impossible after Roberto Firmino made it 0-2 coming off the bench.

Let’s take a look at the player ratings for Arsenal vs Liverpool match:-

Arsenal vs Liverpool Player Ratings

Aaron Ramsdale (2/10): A frustrating evening for Ramsdale. Made a silly error to give Jota the opener

Cedric (6/10): A really solid performance from Cedric. Got Diaz subbed off.

Ben White (4/10): Accurate with his passing. Should’ve spotted Jota for the first goal.

Gabriel (3/10): Improved going forward. Erratic at a time while defending

Tierney (4/10): A really solid first-half. What followed was a lethargic second.

Partey (6/10): Up there with his performance against City at home. Needs to keep this if Arsenal wants to make the top 4.

Xhaka (6/10): Made his mark in the game with his positioning. Secure with his passing

Saka (5/10): Looked threatening as usual in the first half. Dropped off in the second.

Martin Odegaard (5/10): Similar performance to Saka. Should have made it one-nil in the second.

Martinelli (7/10): Arsenal’s best player by a mile. A contender for the player of the match.

Lacazette (3/10): Had his moments here and there. Overall, poor.

Pepe (5/10): Standard five for Pepe. Didn’t have the impact he had against Wolves.

Nketiah: NA

Emile Smith-Rowe (5/10): Similar to Pepe. Didn’t do much wrong.

Allison (10/10): Made some really strong saves to deny Arsenal the lead. Man of the match.

Alexander-Arnold (5/10): Martinelli gave him nightmares till the 90th minute. Good going forward.

Matip (8/10): Matip had a better half compared to VVD. Showed why he was the player of the month.

Van Dijk (8/10): His presence was useful, especially when dealing with Saka. Made the Arsenal man think twice.

Robertson (8/10): Certainly an improvement from last game. Defended Saka well and played some beautiful crosses.

Fabinho (7/10): He was always on the back of Arsenal’s midfielders. Partey got the better of him at times.

Henderson (6/10): Got dominated by Xhaka all game. Got carried by Fabinho and Thiago.

Thiago (7/10): A perfect game from Thiago. However, nearly gave away Arsenal an equalizer.

Mane (6/10): Not his best game this season. White and Gabriel held him well.

Jota (9/10): Poor game until that smashing finish. Proper goalscorer.

Diaz (6/10): Arguably his worst game for Liverpool. Cedric dealt with him with ease.

Firmino (9/10): Arsenal’s old foe came back to haunt them. Firmino showed he’s still got it.

Jones: NA

Salah (6/10): Good kickabout for Salah. Didn’t do anything special.
