Mere months after Kendrick Lamar enticed the world with his performances at the New Orleans Superdome with his best hits, fans are already speculating about who will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2026.
Lamar’s song list included
- ‘GNX (Teaser)’
- ‘Squabble Up’
- ‘Humble’
- ‘DNA’
- ‘Euphoria’
- ‘Man at the Garden?’
- ‘Peekaboo’
- ‘Luther’
- ‘All The Stars’
- Not Like Us’’
- ‘TV Off’
The 20-time Grammy winner also enlisted tennis legend Serena Williams to accompany him in a duet with SZA while they sang ‘All The Stars.’
Now that’s done and dusted, fans have already started to speculate who will be the star to perform during Super Bowl 2025-26 at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.
Dua Lipa
The British pop star has propelled herself to stardom in the last few years. Various sports outlets, including NRJ and NFL Gold Derby, speculated that Dua Lipa could possibly be in line to headline Super Bowl 2026.

Several of her hits, ‘Don’t Start Now ‘ and ‘Levitating,’ have ruled the charts for weeks, helping her to bag big gigs and fill out stadiums like it was a children’s park. She has delivered over 100 million views on her, and the NFL should consider capitalizing on it while she’s still going hot.

While bringing a performer from a different country may not appeal too much to the American football fans, it will be a great achievement for her.
Jay-Z
If the NFL decides against inviting Dua Lipa, then the big boss, Jay-Z, or Shawn Carter, may throw his name in the hat. He is the one—his company, Roc Nation, agreed to a $25 million contract with the NFL committee in 2019 to manage the Super Bowl halftime show. So, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that the husband of Beyonce takes matters into his own hands.

Most people will question whether he has released any new songs. Does it really matter? He has tons to revisit, and the people will flock to hear him. He must keep ‘Crazy In Love’ to sing with Beyonce.

Post Malone
The best option for the NFL is to give the fans what they want, and who better to light up the stage during the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show than Post Malone? He is the organizer’s dream and among the few singers with zero negativity.

Malone’s music is generally good and fun. His hits include ‘Rockstar,’ ‘Lemon Tree,’ and ‘Psycho.’ Making him the main man of the event also opens the door to Taylor Swift. Malone recorded a song titled ‘Fortnite’ in Swift’s latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’

However, the league must convince Swift to perform. According to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the 35-year-old won’t perform in the Super Bowl halftime show until her boyfriend and the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce retire from football. Kelce is coming back for another year and is likely to play in 2026 as well.

One name that has to be in the conversation is Drake. After Lamar took shots at the ‘Teenage Fever’ singer, the NFL should give him a chance to send a reply.
