Aryna Sabalenka shared a playful moment with Novak Djokovic during his post-match interview at Roland Garros. While Djokovic was speaking to TNT Sports and signing tennis balls, Sabalenka made a surprise appearance.

Her light-hearted interruption caught Djokovic off guard. He responded with a quick “Mamma mia,” which led Sabalenka to mimic him in a fun exchange. She joked that he was talking too long and wondered how much longer she should wait.

Earlier, Sabalenka had posted a funny Instagram reel involving Djokovic and her goddaughter. In the old photo, the Serbian smiled for the camera while the young girl sported a grumpy expression. The caption and moment delighted fans.

Both players have been dominant at the tournament. Sabalenka is already into the quarterfinals, while Djokovic is preparing for his fourth-round match. It is worth noting that their off-court chemistry added a humorous touch to the tournament.

Aryna Sabalenka moves into the Roland Garros quarterfinals

World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka reached the French Open quarterfinals with a straight-sets win over Amanda Anisimova. The world No. 1 secured a 7-5, 6-3 victory on Court Suzanne Lenglen.

This win marks Sabalenka’s 33rd straight-sets victory of the season, more than any player’s total match wins. She credited Anisimova for her strong effort and said focus and variety helped her succeed. Next, Sabalenka will meet Qinwen Zheng of China. Zheng recently beat her for the first time during the Italian Open quarterfinals.

Although Anisimova had a winning record against Sabalenka, she has now lost their last two matches. Sabalenka broke through after saving break points in the first set and dominated early in the second to seal the match.

Novak Djokovic equals Roger Federer’s record

Novak Djokovic added another record to his name with a dominant win at Roland Garros. He defeated Austrian qualifier Filip Misolic 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 to reach the fourth round.

With this result, Djokovic has now made the last 16 in at least two Grand Slam events for 20 seasons. That equals a record held by Roger Federer in the Open Era.

The Serbian star has already surpassed Federer in Grand Slam titles, weeks as world No. 1, and head-to-head matchups. This latest milestone further cements his legacy. His win over Misolic also marked Djokovic’s 99th match victory at the French Open, tying his best win count at a single major.
