But now, as the game sets its sights towards Ireland and Paris for its upcoming expansions, it seems like the game is set to branch out and touch upon the many other segments of Viking lore. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: 8 Leaks
1. Pigeon coops and trade icons:
The pigeon coop, as well as the courier pigeons they house, is a means of communication which were historically used by the Assassins to covertly trade messages and assignments.
In some previous games of the franchise, pigeon coops are used as a form of communication between assassins. Many trade icons like ‘irish_cargo_icon’, ’trade_chest_icon’, ’trade_system_icon’ are also found with other already existed icons of the game.
2. New river raid and ship cosmetics:
Like everyone anticipated we will have some new river raid options. Data miners also found the name of a river. It is called ERRIFF. The Werewolf, Elf-looking ship skins are also discovered with previous skins with many unnamed skins.
3. Tara Hill and Stone of destiny:
Gamers already know about the Stone of destiny on Tara Hill. After breaking down the game files it seems like we have to destroy the Stone of destiny located on Tara Hill.
4.New Drengir and NPC abilities:
Interestingly data miners found two Dregirs in the game files. It seems like NPCs will have some new and cool transformation animations as well.
5.Dublin upgrades
In the game data a barber, a tattoo artist, and a blacksmith are found in Dublin. So we can hope we do not have to go back to Ravenschope to change the looks of our character model anymore and also get rid of the long loading screen.
6.Lagertha – Master Shield Maiden:
Ubisoft said, “A master arrives at the settlement, inspiring Eivor to train and perfect challenges to become a Master… ”
Although this is not confirmed we can speculate the new master will be Lagertha. Some game files and already existing Lagartha’s ax further solidify the speculations.
7. Mastery Challenges:
By looking at the Mastery Challenges promo and ‘HorseBowMasteryDLCaddon’ in the game files we can tell we will have new archery skill in the upcoming update. With that skill players will be able to shoot burning arrows while riding a horse without having the Ranged Fire strike. ‘Mastery Dodge Melee’ is also found in the game files which makes more sense after the speculations of the arrival of Master Shield maker Lagertha in the game.
8.DLC 3 and Meteors:
For the covid situation around the world and high sales of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft has postponed the future games and decided to work on the 3rd DLC of the game. With some game data and insider leaks, we can clearly say there will be a meteor flying down in England while players are running around.
Given how Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a game based on classical European fantasy, a game following in its trail can be expected to feature similar landscapes.
