Asuka recently uploaded a YouTube video announcing that her X account had been hacked on the day before she was filming this video. She warned her fans that if she ever saw posts from that account promoting a product or suspicious links, it was likely a scam. The former Women’s Champion asked her fans to be careful, and she apologized for any trouble caused because of this.

Just a few weeks ago, the Empress of Tomorrow expressed her frustration about people trying to gain access to her social media account. Unfortunately, it appears that her fears have come true. Furthermore, she has also complained about people trying to falsely copyright strike her videos on Facebook.

Several posts have appeared on the 42-year-old’s X profile ever since it got hacked. Written in Japanese, these posts falsely state that the account was never compromised. Additionally, they promote and express support for some upcoming projects not related to Asuka in any way.

Asuka was pretty active on her social media accounts until very recently. She even penned down her thoughts on X, asking people not to develop romantic feelings for her. Nia Jax made a playful jab at this remark, saying that she always thought that they had something special.

When is Asuka returning to WWE?

Asuka had her last WWE match at Backlash France earlier in May 2024. She teamed up with Kairi Sane to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Unfortunately for her, she lost the tag gold and would go on to take a hiatus from WWE due to her knee injury.

The first Women’s Royal Rumble winner had already been going through pain in her leg since before WrestleMania XL. However, she stuck it out as long as she could. The 42-year-old likely wanted to avoid an abrupt exit and having to vacate her gold.

A few months ago, she had made an appearance at a SuperShow in Japan. She revealed that she was still forced to wear braces, and her leg was not fully healed. Many expected her to make a return during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Unfortunately, this never came to fruition either. As of now, there are no updates as to when fans will get to see her on their screens once again.
