Athletico Madrid vs Athletic Club Bilbao: Athletico Madrid squared off against Athletic Club Bilbao at the King Fahd International Stadium in the 2nd semi-final of the Supercopa de Espana
Both the teams were defensively solid in the 1st half. It was an even game until Athletico Madrid were able to take the lead courtesy of an unlucky own goal by Unai Simón. However, Bilbao were able to equalize in the 77th minute with a superb header from Yeray. Not long after this, Nico Williams was able to score the winner with a fantastic goal to seal a spot in the final for Athletic Bilbao. At the very end of the match, José Giménez was sent off following a high boot.

Jan Oblak (4.5/10): The goalkeeper was not troubled by the Bilbao attackers that much in the 1st half. However, he was scored passed twice in the 2nd half.
José Giménez (4/10): The Uruguayian centre-back was pretty solid in the defence making some good blocks and tackles and had an overall decent game. However, he was sent off in the stoppage time.
Mario Hermoso (6/10): The centre-back made some good tackles and challenges to keep the Bilbao attack out and his ball distribution was also very good.
Sime Vrsaljko (6/10): The full-back playing as a centre-back tonight had a solid game defensively and was also very good in linking up with his teammates.
Geoffrey Kondogbia (6.3/10): The defensive midfielder played a free role on the pitch tonight where he played some good passes and made some good interceptions.
Thomas Lemar (6/10): The midfielder had a decent game playing wide most of the times and linking up well with Carrasco, but he could have done a bit more.
Koke (6.3/10): The Spanish midfielder was very good in tight spaces and played some really good passes and his positioning can also be well appreciated.
Yannick Carrasco (6.8/10): The Belgian winger played some really good passes and was very good in combing with others. He also had a few shots at the goal as well.
Marcos Llorente (6/10): The right-back playing as a right winger had a decent game playing some good passes but he was subbed off at the beginning of the 2nd half.
João Félix (7.5/10): The forward was on target in the 2nd half as he helped to score the only goal of the match with a header which hit the post and went into the nets after hitting the goalkeeper.
Ángel Correa (6/10): The Argentine forward had a good game tonight though he was not very much involved in the game. However, he did play some good passes.

Renan Lodi (5/10): He played some good passes and made a few interceptions. Apart from that he could not do anything more.

Unai Simón (5/10): The Spanish goalkeeper made some good saves but was unlucky to register an own goal into his name.
Iñigo Martínez (6.3/10): The Spanish centre-back had a very good game defensively and was able to stop Athletico Madrid to only one goal.
Yeray (7.5/10): The centre-back was really good in making stops and blocks. He was also good in air making clearances. He scored the equalizer with a header from a corner kick.
Mikel Balenziaga (6/10): The left back had a decent game tonight playing some really good passes and carried the ball well.
Óscar de Marcos (6/10): The right back also had a decent game tonight carrying the ball well and he was also good in his off the ball movement.
Oier Zarraga (6.3/10): The central midfielder was very good in maintaining the tempo of the match and was really good in combining with the other midfielders as well as the forwards.
Dani García (6.2/10): The midfielder played some good passes and linked up well with his teammates. He also made some really good interceptions. He assisted the 2nd goal for the Bilbao.
Iker Muniain (7/10): The left winger always looked to create something whenever he was on the ball. He combined really with others. He assisted the 1st goal for Bilbao.
Álex Berenguer (6.4/10): The winger did put a hard shift tonight running at the defenders and also played some good passes. Overall, a decent performance.
