The World No. 8 has secured 5 ATP titles in 2020 and created a record. He is now seeking his 6th title as he enters the Rolex Masters in Paris. Rublev has won two tournaments back to back. The first was the ATP in St. Petersburg, in front of his home crowd. The following week he won the ATP Erste Bank Open in Vienna. Now seeking a sixth title in Paris, Rublev will play with little stress as he has also qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals.

Radu Albot has made way into the second round of the ATP 1000 Masters in Paris after qualifying. He won the two qualifying rounds seeded 10 in the qualifiers draw. Into the main draw, Albot won against Hubert Hurkacz in three sets 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-4 to set up a clash against the fifth seed of the tournament.

The second time they met was in 2016 and Rublev was handed another loss at Memphis Open in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. It will be interesting to see their clash as Rublev trails 0-2.

The match should be a win for Rublev, who is in his top-notch form. The Russian has a win-loss record of 12-1 at the indoor hard courts. He should win the match with his offensive and big forehand. Consistent two-handed backhand and running forehand make him return the balls, even ending up in passing shot winners. He should seal the match in two sets.
