David Goffin has been playing some great tennis recently, winning his 5th ATP Tour title at the 2021 Montpellier Open, beating Roberto Bautista Agut in the Final. David Goffin had struggled for the last 4-5 months with form, losing to very low-ranked opponents in early rounds of tournaments. David Goffin’s recent Rotterdam trip was cut short by Jeremy Chardy. These indoor hard-court tennis swing has definitely helped him gain some momentum back and get himself back into the upper echelons of tennis. Goffin will want to go far here in Doha as he knows he can if he plays his best. However, he will have to come through a tough opponent in the first round.

Filip Krajinovic has not really played much this year on the ATP Tour. Krajinovic is dominant at times or is entirely below par. He however shines in hard court tournaments will definitely pose a challenge in Doha this week. Krajinovic will be disappointed however with the draw he has been handed here, already facing a seed in the first round, and not an easy one in David Goffin.
