Home favorite Lorenzo Sonego is amongst the favorites to win the tournament in Cagliari. Lorenzo Sonego destroyed the very skilled and experienced veteran Gilles Simon in the second round, winning in straight sets 6-4/6-1.
Sonego showcased great form and dominated from the baseline. He was on top of the match right from the start, and didn’t give up any cheap points.
