Egor Gerasimov started his indoor hard court season at the Petersburg Open where he lost in Round 1 to E.Donskoy. The Berlausian had a decent run at the Bett1Hulks championships where he reached the quarterfinals losing to Felix Auger Aliassime. He last played at the Astana Open where he was defeated in the last 16 by Frances Tiafoe. Gerasimov is known to be good hard court player and had also reached the finals of the Maharashtra Open earlier this year which was played on hard court.
Pablo Andujar has played two indoor hard court tournaments so far. At the European Open in Antwerp, the Spaniard mananged to reach the last 16 where he lost to Grigor Dimitrov. Andujar was knocked out from the 1st round of the Paris Masters by Y.Nishioka. The Spaniard has not been having a great time on hard courts this year, with consistent poor performances on this surface which includes first round exits at US Open and Australian Open.
