However, he was simply outmatched by Diego Schwartzman in the second round, losing in straight sets.
His opponent is Roberto Carballes Baena. The Spaniard still plays a mix of Challenger and ATP Tour events but hasn’t found success in either this season. He has a similar win-loss record as Gasquet but hasn’t proceeded beyond the third round in an ATP Tour event this year.
