Avery Bradley opted out of his player option with the Los Angeles Lakers as he chose to be traded away to Miami Heat in hopes for a better role. Bradley was not a part of the Lakers in the NBA Bubble. But had a solid regular season. Averaging more than 8 points in almost 25 minutes per game. However, the quality that could get the best out of Bradley for the Heat is his defensive ability.

After a fairy tale run in the 2020 postseason, the Heat have established themselves as serious contenders for the NBA title. Additionally, last season they were taken lightly by their opponents which gave the Heat an advantage. Regardless of that, they have the talents to make it back to the NBA Finals with their current roster. Especially if Herro and Adebayo rise to the occasion again.

I’m excited because I do feel like I’m a perfect fit. We all know what it means to be a Miami Heat player — the passion, the dedication it takes to be a part of this culture.

“I think our team is going to be really good. I’m excited to be part of Miami and part of a great culture like this. I felt wanted.”

Over the years, Miami have proved to be a likeable destination for free agents. It the winning mentality that attracts agent along with the favorable living conditions.
