The Golden State Warriors star player expressed his appreciation through a post on his Instagram handle. While the Curry family gathered around for gratitude, Ayesha Curry had a peculiar realization.

Stephen Curry’s Instagram post was one from the entire Curry family wishing the former’s followers a happy Thanksgiving. The post featured Curry standing beside Ayesha who carried their newborn, Caius Chai, in a baby carrier. Meanwhile, Canon stood on the couch in matching yellow and brown like everybody. The family photo was shared by Ayesha Curry on her Instagram Stories with a hilarious caption. As she expressed her thanks, she had a pondering realization after 13 years of marriage.

The duo eventually tied the knot in 2011.

The post came after Stephen Curry’s Warriors were handed a tough loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Curry sat out due to an injury as he watched the 105-101 defeat. The break for the Holiday also gave the former back-to-back MVP some time to rest before he gets back on the court.

Emphasizing communication, Ayesha Curry expressed how she and Steph Curry would talk to each other all day. In elaboration, she mentioned that they check in with each other with respect for the other’s feelings. This was part of what made the two best friends before husband and wife.
