Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry with their family
Ayesha Curry and Stephen Curry welcomed their fourth child together over the summer. Caius Chai Curry is the latest addition to the Curry family. The couple welcomed their youngest son five months ago. However, the Currys decided to keep the face of their newborn under wraps since his birth in May.
Stephen Curry has had quite the offseason. The 2x League MVP earned his first Olympic Gold Medal at the Paris Olympics while setting fire to the hardwood. But his biggest honor this offseason was certainly welcoming his fourth child, Caius.
After keeping his face under wraps for the past five months, Ayesha Curry took to her IG to show the first photos of their son. In the caption, Ayesha wrote: “Cai says Hi! ?“
The couple welcomed their eldest daughter, Riley, in 2012, and then Ryan, in 2015, following Stephen Curry’s first championship. The last in line before Caius’ birth was their first son, Cannon Curry, in 2018. After four-years, the family has now welcomed their fourth child with Caius.
Fans of the Curry’s were delighted to see the family welcome their latest member. Adorations and compliments for the toddler were poured into Ayesha Curry’s comments section.
Stephen Curry’s injury update
Stephen Curry suffered a left peroneal strain against the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this week. He exited the game following the injury to his left ankle and did not return.
Since then, Warriors fans have been patiently waiting to see their franchise superstar return to the hardwood. The 36-year-old has been kept on the sidelines for the Warriors’ past two games.
The team announced that Curry will be re-evaluated later this week on Friday, ahead of the Dubs’ matchup against the Houston Rockets. Curry will join the team on the bench in street clothes in Houston as the Warriors begin a five-game road trip.
The team currently sits with a 4-1 record, stealing two victories over the New Orleans Pelicans in the absence of their offensive powerhouse Stephen Curry. The Dubs pulled off an 89-104 victory late last night to cap their first five games.
