Wrestler and Commonwealth Games gold medalist, Babita Phogat and her husband, wrestler Vivek Suhag have become parents to a baby boy. The 31-year-old had revealed the news of her pregnancy to her followers on social media a few months back. She had also shared images from her baby shower saying she had ‘cherished every single moment of it’.

It is noteworthy that there was another celebration in the Phogat family recently as Babita’s sister Sangeeta got married to wrestler Bajrang Punia

‘Meet our little SONshine’ – Babita

Babita Phogat took to Twitter today to announce the news of her child’s birth and its gender. She wrote, “Meet our little SONshine. Believe in dreams; they do come true. Ours came dressed in blue!” Her Twitter feed was soon flooded with messages of congratulations and wishes.

It is noteworthy that the news of her baby’s birth comes at the same time as that of the Indian cricket team’s skipper Virat Kohli who welcomed a baby girl with wife Anushka Sharma.
