WWE will be hosting an unnamed PLE in October. After Bash in Berlin, the Stamford-based promotion will reportedly be looking to bring back an iconic PPV. As per PWInsider, there have been creative pitches for Bad Blood to return for a specific reason. First, it will mark twenty-seven years since the inception of the Hell in a Cell stipulation.

According to sources, this would tie in with the anniversary of the match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels inside the barbaric structure. Therefore, the current pitch is for a Hell in a Cell bout to take place on the PLE. However, there is no information on the exact time and location of the event. Since WrestleMania, all PLEs have been hosted in international arenas.

Although SummerSlam will break the trend with the event set to take place in Cleveland, fans are hoping that the international events continue. After all, the rabid, hot crowds have made the shows more memorable than they’ve had any right to be. Speaking of the Bad Blood PPV, the last time it occurred was in 2004.

As WWE is seemingly planning on holding a Hell in a Cell match at this year’s event, fans are speculating on who’ll enter the cage. The most obvious choice would be CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, who have engaged in arguably the best rivalry of 2024 so far. Having said that, only time will tell whether the two will lock horns inside the structure.

Predicting the card for the reported WWE Bad Blood PLE in October

Although it might be too soon to predict the card for the planned Bad Blood PLE, there are several feuds lined up for the summer. In addition to the aforementioned Punk-McIntyre program, the WWE Universe has been clamoring for Cody Rhodes to finally square off against Randy Orton. As such, it won’t be surprising to see their eventual rivalry play out at the event.

Meanwhile, many expect Rhea Ripley to return by SummerSlam. And, as the PLE name suggests, she could settle her differences with Liv Morgan at the event. Sticking with The Judgment Day’s problems, Finn Balor is seemingly planning something after his recent actions on Raw.

As per fan rumors online, he is looking to take over the faction and remove his teammate, Damian Priest. This might culminate during the summer and possibly during the October PLE. Nonetheless, only time will tell how the mentioned storylines progress in the coming months.
