On this week’s episode of Raw, Liv Morgan put in a valiant effort during the women’s tag team match. Despite losing, Morgan gained the respect of fans as she finished the bout after suffering a blow to the face. As a result, Morgan was busted open, which also sparked concern amongst the WWE Universe. Fortunately for the talent and her fans, Morgan has not suffered any major injury.

As per WrestleVotes, Morgan received a few stitches following her match. Moreover, the spot where she bled was not planned but did help in elevating the overall match quality. Blood in WWE is a rare occurrence nowadays, but always a welcome one. Therefore, the fans have demanded more of it, especially in women’s matches.

Although not confirmed, the spot that caused the injury might’ve been when Raquel Rodriguez spun Morgan around as a weapon. Eagle-eyed fans spotted that Morgan instantly covered her face after hitting both members of Damage CTRL.

Unfortunately, the former Women’s World Champion fell short in the end. After engaging in an enthralling back-and-forth with Iyo Sky, it was the latter who gained the win for her team. While there were no stakes on the line, this bout certainly added intrigue to the already heated women’s tag team division.

A few weeks back, Morgan and Rodriguez defeated the reigning champions, Bianca Belair and Naomi. Since then, The Judgment Day duo has hinted at challenging for the belts in the near future. Before that, however, Liv Morgan will head to Toronto, where she’ll battle it out with five other women with a huge opportunity on the line.

Liv Morgan will look to regain the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania

A week prior to getting busted open, Liv Morgan fought against Iyo Sky for a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. The two stars had a compelling bout, which ended in underwhelming fashion after Rhea Ripley handed Morgan a DQ win.

Regardless of the finish, Morgan was ecstatic as she earned a golden opportunity. If she emerges victorious inside the Chamber, The Judgment Day member will receive a chance to regain the title she held for a better part of 2024.

Although Charlotte Flair has not made her WrestleMania decision yet, reports suggest she’ll most likely choose Tiffany Stratton. This means that the winner of the Women’s Elimination Chamber goes on to face either Ripley or Sky, who’ll square off on the Raw after the PLE.
