Over the past few weeks, there have been multiple references to Brock Lesnar on WWE TV. These sudden callbacks to The Beast Incarnate have fueled the speculation of his return. However, a new report has emerged that provides an update on the possible return of Lesnar to WWE.

According to PWInsider, there have been no talks between Brock Lesnar and WWE. In fact, he has not been factored into any plans by WWE creative since January. Therefore, all the mentions and references serve the purpose of emphasizing the ongoing storylines only.

Moreover, there were some reports that claimed that the status of the former WWE Champion has remained the same in the company ever since his name was referenced in the Janel Grant lawsuit. In contrast, when Triple H was asked about the return of Lesnar, he said that it depends on the latter’s mood and when he plans to come back.

Therefore, as of now, the status of the 47-year-old is up in the air. Although there were some rumors that he might return around WrestleMania 41, the chances now are relatively low. Needless to say, WWE’s legal team won’t give the green light to Lesnar returning amid the ongoing federal investigation.

Tommy Dreamer says Brock Lesnar defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX was the worst decision

Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX to end the latter’s iconic undefeated streak. It was one of the biggest upsets in the history of professional wrestling that shocked the world. However, according to legend Tommy Dreamer, it was the “worst decision” WWE made.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Dreamer claimed that Lesnar never needed a win over The Phenom. He added that there were a few more matches left in Undertaker that could have been capitalized to elevate a young star at that time.

I still to this day would say perhaps the worst decision in professional wrestling history. I just don’t think Brock needed at the time either. The streak was as popular and as a draw for WrestleMania. If you think about it, he had a few more matches left in him.

The ECW legend went on to say that ‘The Streak’ could have been an attraction for another few years as well after WrestleMania XXX. He averred that WWE might have used The Undertaker match as a potential main event of one night when WrestleMania was expanded into a two-night show.
