Joakim Noah and Barack Obama
Former NBA and Chicago Bulls player Joakim Noah has been in the news following his recent virtual interaction with former American President Barack Obama. Nine of Noah’s thirteen NBA seasons were played in Chicago, a place that Obama has been closely associated with. In addition, he also played with Obama in a friendly matchup back in 2010.
Most recently, Noah appeared on the All The Smoke Podcast, where he spoke about various topics in and around the NBA. The topic that caught the NBA community’s attention was Obama sending him an invite for his 50th birthday basketball game. The retired Bull star said that he was taken away with the invite.
Joakim Noah didn’t hold back against Barack Obama
Joakim Noah was always been a no-nonsense defender during his career. The former Chicago Bulls player faced off against Barack Obama in 2010 where he put his defensive prowess to the test. Furthermore, Dwyane Wade, also a former Bull, claimed that the ‘big man’ did not hold back.
It’s hardly shocking that Noah chose to go hard on Obama. Over his nine seasons as a Bull, he gained notoriety for his intensity. In addition to being named Defensive Player of the Year, he was an NBA All-Star thrice.
