Being a Chicago Bears fan is no fun, and who better than Seth Rollins to tell? However, this time around, he’s over the moon with the way The Monsters of the Midway stitched a resounding 36-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers at Soldier Field on Sunday. As Seth usually does, he posted on X that he loves football. In response, former United States Champion Baron Corbin had something to say.

The 40-year-old, who’s himself been an offensive guard during his NFL days, told Rollins that his boys, the Bears, won him some money off their immaculate performance last night. As evident from it, Corbin seemingly won a bet, putting his money on the Caleb Williams side. Two weeks ago, Rollins was in the doldrums, lamenting his favorite side’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Visionary was also dumped on the field by former Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton for mocking the home side at the Lucas Oil Stadium. But for now, Seth can breathe easy. Bears is now placed in the third spot in the NFC North division with three wins and a couple of losses.

Amidst the ado of the NFL, the WWE Superstar is back on Raw. Last Monday, the former 5-time World Champion crashed the main event featuring “Big” Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. The Architect came sprinting down to stomp Reed’s head into steel steps. As a result, Strowman won the Last Monster Standing match.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, in a new video, has confirmed that Seth will be on the show this week. And he’s got a bone to pick with Bronson. The latter was responsible for keeping Rollins out of action these past months.

What does WWE have planned for Seth Rollins in the long run?

Even though Seth Rollins has yet to face Bronson Reed, he’s destined for something big in the near future. That’s where the conversation circles back to late-2023, where it was planned that the then-world champion, Seth, would defend against Punk at WrestleMania XL.

However, The Second City Saint ended up tearing his triceps at the Royal Rumble, putting him on the sidelines. But it’s about time WWE revisited this rivalry. Both superstars have been pretty vocal about their malignity for each other over the years.

It’s just a matter of when rather than if before they renew their beef on television. Next year’s WrestleMania is the targeted destination for finally pitting these men at loggerheads in one of the most anticipated matches of the modern era.
