Legendary Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders predicted that Taylor Swift‘s presence will play a big factor during the Super Bowl LIX match-up between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9. The Eagles must brace themselves for an impact.
Sanders historically preferred to avoid discussing matters outside of football. Even the 1997 NFL MVP can no longer ignore Swift’s impact on football and the Chiefs.
During a recent interview with former NFL defensive end Chris Long, 56-year-old Sanders subtly backed the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans because of the Swift.

Barry Sanders warns Chiefs to be weary of Saquon Barkley
Sanders’ Taylor Swift prophecy may come to pass, but there’s one man from the Eagles whom the Chiefs must keep quiet in order to secure the historic three-peat. The person Sanders highlighted was the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley.
Barkley never faced the Chiefs even when playing for the New York Giants. His first game against Patrick Mahomes and Kelce is bound to bring some fireworks and Sanders is excited to witness it.
Let me go with Saquon. I feel like the Eagles might have more playmakers. I cringe and hesitate picking against like the heavy favorite, I guess Chiefs are the favorite, obviously, they’re chasing history.

Barkley’s reasons for leaving the Big Apple involved drama surrounding a new contract that the Eagles provided him and he repaid by leading them to the Super Bowl, but even the All-Pro rusher can’t avoid Swift’s riz.
She was an Eagles fan her whole life. I think the Swifties should come to our side.
