Baseball catches from fans in the stands have always been entertaining to watch, especially done under ordinary circumstances- like while holding a baby or eating popcorn. But one baseball fan seems to have gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

This fan runs away from foul ball instead of trying to catch it. In a college baseball matchup between the TCU Horned Frogs and the Kansas Jayhawks, one fan added himself to the list of poor decisions made. He not only ran away from the foul ball, but also left his girlfriend in the way to face the wrath.

In the sixth inning of play, a pop up was skyed behind home plate. Finding its way into the stands on the third base side, A couple was sitting alone in the bleachers with the man ready to be the hero of the game.

In a shocking twist, the man ran away from the ball, instead of protecting his girlfriend, and missed the ball hitting him. To make matters worse the ball hits the lady and bounced off of her.

As social media watched on, everyone was disappointed to see the shocking outcome of the video. Several fans thought that the girl should break up with her boyfriend for not saving her.
