Clark Kellogg’s bizarre airplane toilet analogy leaves Charles Barkley in splits during nail-biting Duke vs. Houston game
The Duke Blue Devils are playing in their first NCAA tournament without former head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
Charles Barkley loses it on the set after listening to Clark Kellogg's analogy about Duke vs Houston game in NCAA Sweet Sixteen
Wherever Charles Barkley is present, he either brings out laughter in others or they bring out some laughter in him. One such incident happened today as NCAA March Madness co-analyst Clark Kellogg brought out a bizarre analogy to the nail-biting game between Duke and Houston. This left the Hall of Famer in splits.
The game between Duke Blue Devils and the Houston Cougars was a nail-biting affair till the end. After the game, as the March Madness studio in CBS was about to start their analysis, Kellogg brought in the big guns to describe the game.
You know what that's like, Ernie? The score, that tight? It's like me in one of those airplane bathrooms trying to figure out how to make it happen.Clark Kellog via CBS
This statement made Charles Barkley lose it on the sets. It also made co-analyst Kenny Smith suggest that the analogy was too good to be never used again.
What Clark Kellogg alluded to is that the Houston Cougars started the game playing lights out against the Duke Blue Devils. But as time progressed, Duke started eating away at the lead and pulled close with a few minutes left on the clock.
The game went down to the wire until the last few seconds of the game. Houston tried everything they could to slice the deficit, only for Duke to keep the lead and win the game. The Duke Blue Devils progress to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament to face NC State.
Clark Kellogg and Charles Barkley continue to watch unreal NCAA March Madness
This year’s March Madness has been explosive so far in both the men’s as well as women’s divisions. Now Sweet Sixteen has brought out some unreal games. For instance, Clemson and Alabama beating the top two seeds in the Men’s division was one of the highlights. Then Duke’s next opponent, 11th-seeded NC State beat No. 2 seed Marquette to bring out another upset.
The Women’s game is also grabbing headlines, with the unbeaten South Carolina getting the scare of their lives against Indiana. However, the major star-studded games will be held tomorrow. Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese as well as Juju Watkins will go up against their respective teams to reach the Elite 8.
With such high-level play and close games, it was not surprising for Clark Kellogg to bring out an analogy. But no one expected him to bring out one that left Charles Barkley in splits.
