Flau’jae Johnson has made her way back to the sporting world’s headlines. And, unfortunately, the reason is very embarrassing and shameful for her. As the basketball world is hating on her. Flau’jae Johnson recently released a rap video of her on Twitter. It has very controversial 9/11 lyrics and since then she’s trending on the discussion table and receiving a lot of heavy criticism.

Social media isn’t letting this mistake of Flau’jae Johnson slide and is rightly calling her out. As the terror attacks on September 11, 2001, where almost 3000 people lost their lives and several suffered long-term health effects, is the worst day in The United States’ history. So using such a tragic event and linking it with rap lyrics isn’t a joke. But unfortunately, that’s exactly what Flau’jae Johnson did and now she pays the price.

The national championship LSU women’s basketball team guard, Flau’jae Johnson released a remix of “Put It On Da Floor” by Latto. In her song, she had a controversial 9/11 lyric that said: “In this 911 blowing smoke just like those towers.” She used the lyric to portray smoking pot in Porsche 911 and linked it with the 9/11 terror attacks. The attack happened more than 21 years ago and Flau’jae Johnson is just 19 years old and clearly doesn’t understands the seriousness of the tragedy.

We will learn and grow from this experience together.”

Flau’jae Johnson immediately took down the video but nothing posted on the internet can ever be erased and it’s going to haunt her for years to come.
