Jamal Musiala continues to dazzle fans and experts alike in Bayern Munich. As such, reports have emerged that amidst all the hustle and bustle of the new suitors, the Bavarians are planning to extend his contract until 2030. Musiala has been an absolute sensation at the Allianz Arena, and his recent form has gone only from strength to strength.

Florian Plettenberg has reported that Bayern Munich is working on a new contract extension for Jamal Musiala. However, due to a slightly tighter schedule of both parties, the signing might just take some time. There were heavy rumours of Manchester City and Real Madrid trying to woo Musiala into their ranks for the upcoming season, but Bayern is persistent that they are willing to pay what it takes to keep the German international on their side.

The ongoing season has been absolutely brilliant for Musiala. From the 14 matches that he has played, he has scored nine goals while teeing off four assists. He has been on the yard for a staggering 955 minutes apart from his international duties. In the ongoing UEFA Nation’s League, he has featured in three matches, which came against Hungary, the Netherlands, and Bosnia, scoring two goals and carving three assists.

Jamal Musiala hasn’t been happy with the excessive fouling of himself and how the referees deal with it

In a video released by MiaSanMia, Musiala has pointed out that he is being fouled a lot. He said that he tries to speak to the referees, but that has barely yielded any results whatsoever. However, Musiala has also embraced the fact that it is a part of the game. Musiala mentioned that he isn’t a great fan of complaining to the referees, but he feels that it hasn’t simply worked for him.

Ever since their defeat against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern has been on an unbeaten run in the last five games across all competitions. It started with a 5-0 thrashing of VfL Bochum while hammering Mainz by 4-0. They also romped over Union Berlin by 3-0, followed by two 1-0 wins against Benfica and FC St. Pauli.
