WWE has seen its popularity soar under the new management. Fans have witnessed the rise of many stars in the past few years. However, it seems not everyone is on that boat of having a dominant run. The former Women’s Champion recently expressed herself over her lackluster booking in WWE for a long period.

The star in the spotlight is Bayley. She posted a few quotes hinting at her resentment with her current booking. The Role Model meant to say that she has been long overlooked resulting in frustration. The reason for the post was her snubbing from major PLEs.

She won the Women’s Championship in one of the best matches of WrestleMania XL and then went on to have one of the worst Women’s Title reigns of all time. Bayley then moved to SummerSlam to lose her title against Nia Jax in a lackluster match and has been forsaken on SmackDown ever since.

Moreover, she won the Royal Rumble this year and still got the cold shoulder. As of now, there has been no update on the future of the Role Model. Only time will tell when and where she will make her return. With the current booking of the Women’s Division on SmackDown, going up against the duo of Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton seems the likely decision for her.

Roxanne Perez wants to face Bayley at Evolution II

Bayley has been an inspiration for many of the young stars in WWE. One of them is the current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, who has expressed her love for the Role Model in several interviews. Recently, the 22-year-old talked about the Evolution II to PLE and her desire to face the former Women’s Champion if it happens.

In an interview with TV Insider, the Prodigy said that if Evolution II happens, it is going to be an ecstatic opportunity for her to perform. She shed light on who she would like to face by name-dropping Bayley in the interview.

I’d love that. I’ve been waiting for an Evolution II for a pretty long time. Now I can possibly be a part of it. The first time I watched it I was watching from my couch probably 15, or 16 years old. I was dying to be part of that one day. Yeah, hopefully, they can put together an Evolution II. Maybe me versus Bayley?

The wrestling style of the NXT Women’s Champion is a lot inspired by that of the SmackDown star. Now that she herself is on top of the mountain of the same brand, it is a dream come true for her. There is no news on Bayley for now, but Roxanne will be putting her title on the line this Sunday against Jaida Parker at No Mercy in Denver.
