Bayley and Roxanne Perez have been embroiled in a rivalry for a few weeks now. They have had interactions on Raw, NXT, and SmackDown and seem to be headed toward a major singles match that might be taking place at WrestleMania. Things only got worse between these two on the latest episode of the blue brand.
Bianca Belair and Naomi teamed up with Bayley to try to get revenge for losing their Women’s Tag Team Championship against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, who were joined by Roxanne Perez. These six women had a brawl at the Elimination Chamber kickoff just a few hours before the latest episode of SmackDown and decided to settle things in a six-woman tag team match.
Perez has taken plenty of shots at the Women’s Grand Slam Champion on social media, and she put her money where her mouth is during the course of this match. She was nearly caught in a Bayley to Belly suplex but fought her way out of it. She hit the Role Model with a chop knee before delivering a quick Pop Rox.

This allowed Roxanne Perez to pick up the pinfall victory for her team. After the latest episode of SmackDown went off the air, Bayley penned down her thoughts on X. She said that she had received the 23-year-old’s message. Furthermore, she insinuated with the hashtags that she would be getting her revenge inside the Elimination Chamber on Saturday.
Bayley demands an Evolution 2.0 Premium Live Event
Back when WWE initially signed its deal with Saudi Arabia, women were not allowed to compete during these shows. Thus, the promotion tried to compensate by hosting a PLE named Evolution. This was WWE’s first and only show to date, which featured only women’s wrestlers on the entire card. This event never saw a comeback as women were allowed to wrestle on Saudi shows from the next year onwards.

During a recent interview with ScreenRant, Bayley claimed that this was the perfect time to bring back Evolution. She said that there should be an even greater number of opportunities to showcase women’s wrestling. There was still a lot more for them to do, and many goals that they had set for themselves were still left to achieve.
I’ve been dying for an Evolution 2, and I think now is the perfect time.
Bayley speaking with ScreenRant
Bayley said that the women’s roster had grown much bigger ever since the first Evolution event seven years ago. Furthermore, the promotion has also added women’s midcard belts since then. She said that the promotion could even make it a two-night spectacle like what WrestleMania has become. Additionally, WWE could even bring in some talent from TNA to feature some fresh faces on the card.
