Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, has been enjoying her reign as the TBS World Champion. She won the title in her in-ring debut match against Willow Nightingale at the Double or Nothing PPV. Now, ahead of her world title defense against Britt Baker at AEW All In in London, she shared a message on social media.
The 32-year-old star took to X and shared a picture of herself arriving at Wembley Stadium. Interestingly, she received a reply from her old friend, simply saying, “Hello.” The name in question is none other than Bayley, with whom she shared many amazing moments in her previous company, WWE. The Role Model has supported Mercedes Mone throughout her career and was even present at AEW Big Business, despite being a well-known WWE Superstar.
Mone and Bayley’s friendship is pretty special, given that they won many titles during their run as a tag team. However, the 32-year-old star left the Stamford-based company two years ago due to creative differences. The CEO revealed in an interview that she didn’t get much freedom compared to what Tony Khan gives her in AEW.

However, during AEW’s panel at Comic-Con, Khan announced that The Boss would defend her title against Baker at All In. Meanwhile, Bayley suffered a heartbreaking world title loss to Nia Jax at SummerSlam, having previously won the title at WrestleMania XL by defeating Iyo Sky.
