Since becoming the inaugural Women’s Champion, Lyra Valkyria has defended her title several times on Raw. However, she was disappointed after Bayley beat her in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Now, by mutual agreement, Valkyria will defend her title against her ‘frenemy’ on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Before their match, Bayley tried to mess with the young champion’s head on social media. The Role Model took to X and shared an old photo of herself holding two titles, hinting that she planned to win both Lyra Valkyria’s I.C. Title and the tag titles at WrestleMania.

Interestingly, both stars are currently feuding with the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. On last week’s episode of Raw, Valkyria defended her I.C. Title against Rodriguez. Despite Morgan trying to distract her from ringside, she held her ground and retained the title. After the match, Daddio attacked her, but Bayley ran in to make the save.

No hard feelings, right @Real_Valkyria? Mama’s got an agenda

The former WWE Women’s Champion has a real chance to become a double champion at WrestleMania 41. On next week’s episode of SmackDown, six tag teams will compete in a Gauntlet Match to determine who will challenge The Judgment Day members for the titles at WrestleMania.

Bayley and Valkyria are teaming up for the match and are considered favorites to win. It’ll be interesting to see if they can maintain their chemistry after facing each other for the I.C. Title on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Bayley responds to her longtime rival Nia Jax’s BBL jab

When Bayley expressed her desire to become a double champion, it caught Valkyria’s attention, who called it “cheeky.” As Bayley and Valkyria exchanged playful jabs, Nia Jax jumped in and made another BBL comment about the former WWE Women’s Champion. But this time, Bayley was ready with a fitting comeback.

Jax responded to Bayley’s post, telling the Irish star she’d show her what being cheeky really means. The Irresistible Force joined in on the fun, replying, “Let’s see the cheeks.” Bayley fired back, telling her to get back to work, since her former friend-turned-rival Tiffany Stratton was stealing the spotlight as WWE Women’s Champion.

Get back to work idiot. It’s Tiffy Time

Jax has been off WWE TV for over a month. Her last match was at Elimination Chamber, where she teamed with Candice LeRae against Trish Stratus and Stratton in a losing effort. Recently, she shut down rumors of being injured.

Vince Russo criticized Lyra Valkyria and Bayley’s storyline

After Valkyria successfully defended her Intercontinental Title against Rodriguez on the March 24 episode of Raw in Glasgow, her next challenge comes from Bayley. The two babyfaces are set to face off on the upcoming episode of Raw. However, former WWE head writer Vince Russo wasn’t happy with this booking.

On the Legion of Raw podcast, the host asked Russo who he would like to see face Chelsea Green and Valkyria for the titles. Russo explained that WWE could still build a storyline for the titles even just two weeks before WrestleMania. He added that the titles don’t mean much unless they’re defended on a big stage.

Isn’t it kind of late to do something with only two weeks left, man? What are you gonna book in two weeks, man? You know what I mean? [Lyra Valkyria] gets jumped by somebody. What else are you gonna book in two weeks?

He clearly wasn’t impressed by the idea of Bayley and Valkyria challenging Liv and Rodriguez for the tag titles at WrestleMania. Russo dismissed it, saying matches like that aren’t WrestleMania-worthy and should happen on an episode of Raw instead. The former writer was also upset that the Irish star wouldn’t be defending her Intercontinental Title at the event.
