Álvaro Morais Filho and Alison Cerutti at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Latvia vs Brazil Match Preview
The Brazilian duo of Filho and Cerutti has performed really well at the Olympics till now. Although they were defeated by the American duo of Lucena and Dalhausser in their second game, they went past the Dutch team in the round of 16s after that without much trouble.
Moreover, in the clash against Argentina, the way Brazil performed would have given them a lot of confidence. On the other hand, the Latvian duo will come into the clash after a moral shattering defeat against Mexico. Plavins and Tocs looked out of sorts and were easily cornered by their opponents.
The Latvian duo has been lucky to make their way into the top 8, however, their run might come to an end in the quarter-finals as the Brazilian side will walk into the encounter as firm favorites.
