The tournament has now progressed into the quarter-finals and in what is expected to be an entertaining contest in the men’s beach volleyball, ROC, comprising of Viacheslav Krasilnikov and Oleg Stoyanovskiy, will take on Germany’s pair of Clemens Wickler and Julius Thole at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
ROC vs Germany Match Preview
The ROC duo of Krasilnikov and Stoyanovskiy have been tremendous at the Tokyo Olympics. They defeated Mexico in their first game but suffered an astonishing loss against Latvia. However, post that, they were able to find their rhythm as they went past Spain and Czech Republic in the next two matches without facing much trouble.
Moreover, in the round of 16s clash, the ROC duo looked in sublime touch and defeated Pablo Herrera Allepuz and Adrian Gavira Collado of Spain in an emphatic style which would give them a lot of confidence going into the quarter-finals against Germany.
On the other hand, the Germans started off with a defeat against Italy, but made a wonderful comeback in the next two games to make their way into the top 8. Moreover, Wickler and Thole’s thumping win against the United States in the round of 16s pays testimony to the fact that they are here to win.

This quarter-final encounter between ROC and Germany will take place on 4th August 2021. The match will be played in Shiokaze Park, located in Tokyo.

ROC vs Germany Match Prediction
The German duo has been terrific in the tournament. Moreover, given that they were defeated in the first game but dominated their opponents in the next games suggests that they have what it takes at the highest level. Both, ROC and Germany have an evenly matched side. However, the odds are slightly in the favor of the German unit.
