Beau Forest is currently competing in the Barracuda Championship 2024, held at the Tahoe Mountain Club in Truckee, California. He teed off for Round 1 on July 18, 2024, scoring a total of 6 points based on the Modified Stableford scoring system in the first round.

Sharon Forest who is the mother of Beau Forest was spotted at the Barracuda Championship during Round 1. She spoke to the media about her son’s performance, expressing how Beau never demanded major sacrifices.

Seeing all his friends here and knowing everyone who's rooting for him at home, and all across the country, people he knows, it's just wonderful. It's just great to have this happen for Beau. I think about my mom and my dad, who started him with golf, and he just lost an uncle who really encouraged him to play golf, and it was really hard on him. He's just thinking about my mom and dad and what they would think right now. They'd be so proud.
Sharon Forest told the reporter at Barracuda Championship

The Barracuda Championship 2024 runs on the Modified Stableford scoring system. This system awards points based on the type of score achieved: double eagle earns 8 points, eagle 5 points, birdie 2 points, par 0 points, bogey -1 point, and double bogey or worse -3 points.

However, Ben Silverman topped the round with 19 points, followed by Kelly Kraft with 17. Other players, notably Nate Lashley and Seonghyeon Kim, performed well and made the competition tough.

Who is Beau Forest – A look into his career besides golf

Beau Forest is a rising star on the professional golf tour. He is presently participating in the Barracuda Championship 2024, which marks his PGA Tour debut.
