The passion that Philadelphia fans have for the hometown sports franchises is a double-edged sword for the teams. Irrespective of if they win a game or lose, there is havoc and chaos in the streets. When the franchise won its second Super Bowl, it was clear that Philadelphia was going to be chaotic.
Their Super Bowl parade was filled with loads of positive energy and a bit of chaos. Nobody was safe at the parade, not even General Manager Howie Roseman who played a pivotal role in building this championship team. The mastermind who completed the team by bringing Saquon Barkley aboard is revered in Philadelphia.
However, he found himself on the unfortunate end of a beer can at the parade. Howie Roseman was hit with a beer can, unintentionally by a member of the crowd. The hit resulted in the beer can’s circular outline being imprinted on his forehead with the wound nearly bleeding.

The GM remained unfazed by this wound and continued to smoke his cigar while celebrating the Eagles’ Super Bowl win. Later on, Howie Roseman went on to express his positivity and optimism towards the city. “I bleed for this city! Go Eagles!” he said with a smile across his face. Having been in Philadelphia for seven years, Roseman understands the tough love that the locals have for the team.

He went on to express his faith in Jalen Hurts and the squad to come back and repeat this feat in the next season. “Our players, our staff did an unbelievable job. We are two time world champs, and we’re coming back strong!” The Eagles deserve credit where it is due. The team and its fanbase understand how to celebrate a big win.
The Governor of Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro joked about Roseman’s beer can hit during the parade. “Everything was perfect, except for some of y’all who didn’t know how to toss a beer nicely. You fired it too hard, just ask Howie Roseman,” he exclaimed. The team’s parade was a memorable experience as it featured police officers re-enacting the tush push, players having the time of their lives while drunk, and fans rejoicing in beating the Chiefs.
