Bellator 263 just went down and it has rocked the whole world. Patricio Freire and A.J. McKee took the center stage and stunned the whole world.
Bellator 263 took place at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The main card aired on Showtime. The main event featured the two-division champion, Patricio Pitbull, putting his featherweight belt on the line against A.J. McKee at the World Grandprix featherweight final. There was already an amazing hype built up leading to this fight as both the fighters clashed in the press conference getting physical and causing chaos.
This fight had a lot more at stake as it was very personal for both the fighters. McKee’s team and his father accused the champion of consuming PED’s while Patricio vowed to defeat AJ in front of his father which made things very personal involving the fighters’ families. Round 1: AJ comes in aggressive as he attacks the inside leg of Patricio. Pitbull responds with a stunning low kick. Both the fighters are not looking to take it slow. Another huge right kick from McKee towards Pitbull which looks like has stunned the champ. He’s hurt very badly. Pitbull is out.\
Just as McKee is celebrating his victory the ref does not stop the fight so AJ goes in for the choke and latches really tight onto the guillotine. Pitbull’s neck is compromised and it looks like he has to tap right away. McKee looks at the referee and it’s over. Oh My God! A.J. McKee is the new featherweight champion! Wow!
