Yaroslav is considered the best fighter outside the UFC by many the fight fans. The Ukrainian welterweight champ is considered the next Khabib Nurmagomedov. Despite being undefeated for 26 professional fights, Amosov is still adjusting to his new lifestyle and still can’t believe some of the horrors he is witnessing in his country. “During the war, I was asking the guys on how to properly clean a gun,” said Amosov to MMA Junkie in his facetime call.

“It’s hard to watch when people are running, how they were running from their houses just wanting to live. It is hard to look at your city when it is on fire,” said the proud Ukrainian fighter. Yaroslav backed out of his title fight against Michael Page in London and the Bellator proceeded to book the British fighter against Logan Storley at Bellator 281.

Yaroslav Amosov’s return to the octagon is still uncertain and the fighter is fully focused on serving his nation until things return to normal.
