Scott Coker finally managed to get a sit down with UFC legend Conor McGregor at Bellator 275. The Bellator MMA president talks about having a chat with the superstar.

Bellator MMA decided to go international and host Bellator 275 event in Ireland. The event took place at the 3Arena in Dublin which is home to none other than the biggest star in MMA, Conor McGregor. The card also featured fighters from the same gym as The Notorious One. Lee Hammond, Sinead Kavanagh, who fought in the event train at the same gym as McGregor.

McGregor received a king’s welcome at the 3Arena and also sat down to talk with the president of Bellator. “You know to be honest this is the first time I’ve sat down and had a chat with him [Conor],” said Coker when asked about his interaction. “Listen, he is a legend and he has done so much for the sport. I look forward to seeing him in the cage sometime soon.”

Scott Coker deals with the “would Conor McGregor fight in the Bellator” question

The Notorious One is looking to recover from his injury at UFC 264 and fight in the octagon. Scott was also made aware that the Irishman had only two fights left in his UFC contract, to which his response was, “Oh is that it? I don’t even know.” Coker was smart to shut down any further questions about the Bellator possibly looking to sign the superstar.

The Notorious One has a history with this MMA promotion and has even managed to create controversy in a Bellator event. In 2017, Conor jumped into the cage to celebrate his teammate’s victory and caused chaos inside the octagon with the officials. The fighter even shoved the referee Marc Goddard who tried to get the Irishman out of the cage.
