Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov made a call out to a dear friend of his entourage, Kamaru Usman. The Dagestani fighter recently joined Twitter and is poking fun at the Nigerian Nightmare.
Kamaru Usman and the Dagestani team are managed by Ali Abdelaziz. It is very often that the fighters poke fun at each other. Usman Nurmagomedov is a rising Bellator MMA lightweight fighter who is nearing a title shot. After creating his new Twitter account, Nurmagomedov threw out a notorious call out to the welterweight king of UFC.
There are high chances that Usman’s Twitter handle is managed by his Dominance MMA manager, Abdelaziz. Ali is notorious for using his fighters’ Twitter handles and putting out proxy tweets. This sure does look like one of Abdelaziz’s pranks. The recent tweet from Usman’s account suggests the lightweight fighter calling out the Nigerian Nightmare to find out who the best Usman in the MMA world is. “@USMAN84kg let’s see Number one usman,” read the Usman tweet.
Usman Nurmagomedov plans to become champion by the end of 2022
Usman’s rise has been like none other in Bellator MMA. The fighter is currently 15-0 in his professional career and is yet to be tested inside the octagon. The Dagestani fighter is the cousin of UFC great Khabib Nurmagomedov. Usman is looking to continue the legacy of his brother and make his family name proud by becoming the Bellator MMA lightweight champion.
Usman is coming off a stunning win against Chris Gonzalez at Bellator 283. He is the #3 title contender in his division. The fighter is confident that he can beat the champion of the division, Patricky Pitbull. After his win, with the help of his cousin’s translation, Usman called for a title shot before the end of the year.
Nurmagomedov is eyeing to fight in November and believes he will be ready to take on the legendary champion. Patricky Pitbull however is not looking to fight Nurmagomedov. The Brazilian has laid his eyes on Tofiq. A matchup between Usman and Patricky is what the fans want and looks like Scott Coker, the president of Bellator will be giving the fans what they want.
