In his first season as a head coach, Ben Johnson has surprised many after his Chicago Bears posted an 8-3 record. However, there were still doubts about whether they could continue their winning streak, especially when facing the defending Super Bowl champions.
It was literally a tale of two cities, where the Philadelphia Eagles had just been embarrassed by the Dallas Cowboys and were billed to respond in a way that justifies their standing as the defending champions.
On the other hand was a Bears team which still had certain question marks over its head, as analysts and fans were not willing to give them their respect despite winning 9 of their last 10 games.
It so happened that all the pre-game predictions went out of the window. The Bears took the lead, then responded when the home team was on the verge of a late-game comeback.
The Bears won on all fronts, leading Ben Johnson to have one of the most memorable locker-room victory celebrations of his short head-coaching career.
Clips show the 39-year-old first starting to hype his players slowly, and then finally taking off his beanie and t-shirt before leading them to the now-familiar ‘good, better, best’ celebration chant.

After such an impressive road win, especially over supposedly one of the best teams in the league, Johnson had every right to celebrate with his players in the manner he did.
Caleb Williams labels Ben Johnson as ‘Man of the People’
Ben Johnson has seemingly elevated a team that had been struggling for relevance for nearly half a decade. Reporters wanted to know if the head coach did indeed take his shirt off, as clips were not available at the time.
He did take his shirt off. He’s a man of the people, let’s say that.
Caleb Williams told reporters
Caleb Williams confirming that his coach did take his shirt off and celebrated with the team in style indicates that the players are bought into Johnson’s vision.

If not, the quarterback might not have labeled his coach as a ‘man of the people’. Not many players in the NFL get to label their head coach in that manner.
Therefore, it could be another indication of how well sewn together the Chicago Bears have become. This should give the city some joy as its sports teams have struggled for a while.
Next week, Chicago fans will get to know if the team can bring glory back to the city. They are going to face their fiercest rivals, the Green Bay Packers.
The team might not have to contend with Aaron Rodgers, but they still have to repeat what they did to the Eagles at Lambeau Field come December 7th.
Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson continued to run it down Eagles’ throats in 4th quarter
The Chicago Bears had started strong, and their defense kept the Philadelphia Eagles at bay in the 1st half. In the 2nd, it was the away team’s turn to struggle on offense.

In the 3rd quarter, Philly fans were starting to believe that their team could turn it around after intercepting Caleb Williams. However, the Bears then gave the football world the recipe to stop the famed and controversial ‘Tush Push’.
On the next drive, the away team continued their march and scored. Then, after stopping the Eagles again, this time, Caleb Williams ensured the game was truly out of reach.

After that touchdown, home fans started leaving Lincoln Financial Field, knowing the Philadelphia Eagles had imploded against one of the most surprising teams this season.
