Ben Verlander, the brother of Justin Verlander, currently works as an analyst for Fox Sports. He has many times expressed his opinions on matters through his tweets on his official X account.

Just hours before the game, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James pulled out of the event. The veteran claimed that he was still dealing with the ankle and foot discomfort. This development lead to the fans fuming on X.

Speaking of the MLB All-Star game, the previous edition saw a 6 percent increase in viewership. The 2024 game played at Global Life Field in Texas averaged around 7.44 million views. The 2023 edition had 7.01 million views.

While Ben Verlander might have hung up his boots early, his brother Justin Verlander is still going on. The 9-time MLB All-Star will be entering his 21st season as a major league player in 2025. Before this season, his brother has once again hyped him up on social media.

A month ago in January, Verlander penned down a one-year deal with the San Francisco Giants. This came after the 2024 season saw him miss a few games as he got injured.

Following the end of the 2024 campaign, many thought that he would announce his retirement. However, the 3-time Cy Young Award is not done yet. He will return for another year in the MLB and pitch for the Giants.

With the Spring Training underway, he was seen throwing pitches while wearing the orange and black colors of the Giants. Taking to his X account, Ben Verlander would share a clip of him and wrote, “Big year coming“.
