The season might not be going too well for the Cincinnati Bengals with playoff hopes hanging by a thread at a 7-9 record. But wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is having a stellar season by leading the league in yardage, touchdowns, and receptions. And as he continues building prominence, he’s wondering where is his All-Pro selection.

Heading into the final two games of the season, the Bengals have put together a three-game winning streak, with star wide receiver Chase delivering an impressive performance amassing 191 yards on 15 receptions and scoring a touchdown. Reflecting on his previous two performances, the wide receiver confidently stated that he should already be considered for an All-Pro selection when asked about his candidacy.

I should already be All-Pro.

Chase asserted.

Having said that, the three-time Pro Bowler also denied chasing a triple crown of yards, reception, and touchdowns since he is already leading the NFL in these three categories with 1,510 receiving yards, 108 receptions, and 16 receiving touchdowns. Instead, he’s more focused on winning games to clinch the playoff berth.

I gotta worry about winning the game. Be in the playoffs. Me winning the Triple Crown is not putting money in my pocket. Me making the playoffs will put some money in my pocket.

Chase added.

Chase isn’t the only Bengals player having a stellar season as his teammate and quarterback Joe Burrow is also leading the league in yards count of 4,229. However, their individual success does not translate into the team’s success as the Bengals struggle with a 7-8 record and have a 1% chance of securing a playoff berth.

Bengals’ locker room maintains composure as team aims for playoff berth

The only chance for the Bengals to clinch a playoff berth is to secure back-to-back victories in their coming two matches of this season. However, the demeanor of the locker room is defined to be calm rather than panic as wide receiver Chase shared.

It’s been smooth. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a normal day preparing for the Broncos.

Chase said about the Bengals’ locker room atmosphere on Thursday.

Even though the Second-team All-Pro hasn’t focused on his individual statistics this season, he is en route to join Cooper Kupp, Steve Smith Jr., Sterling Sharpe, Jerry Rice, and Lance Alworth, who have earned triple crowns in the history of the league.

As for the Bengals, they’ll face the Broncos this week before travelling to Pittsburg to face the Steelers next week in their final game of the season.
