McGregor fought his first boxing match in 2017 against Floyd Mayweather. The fight was massive and was billed as ‘The Money Fight’. The duo even competed for a specially minted championship clash.

Back then, ‘Notorious One‘ elevated the big fight feel to a greater and grander proportions. Besides that, he convinced fans that he had a chance to do what 49 boxers had tried and failed to do.

McGregor did swinging during the match and tired out the MMA fighter with two decades of experience. However, later he lost the fight.

Boxing: Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor

This is definitely the fight that Conor McGregor would love to do over again. But facing Mayweather again will be a great opportunity for Conor to prove himself after his defeat against “Khabib“. Now Conor fans also want to see him in action, not just on a twitter war.

However, there can be many meanings of what McGregor wrote. It can just mean that he continues to do boxing as a form of excercise. Nothing is sure for now and time will tell the best how things turn out.
