Top 5 Bowlers with best economy rates during death overs in IPL
A format which is highly tilted in the favour of batsmen, T20 cricket doesn’t offer much to the bowlers. With just two fielders outside the 30-yard circle in the powerplay overs, bowlers find it extremely hard to bowl in the shortest format of the game.
As a bowler, one must have a lot of variations in his armoury and a skilful mind to succeed in T20 cricket. Today, having bowlers who can pick wickets regularly with good economy rates is a blessing for any team. The economy rate proves to be the foremost criterion to know how effective a bowler is in the 20-over game.
There aren’t many bowlers who bowl in the power play as well as death overs and still prove to be economical with the ball. However, franchises, over the years, have been blessed with some who have been nothing but outstanding while bowling in crunch situations, especially in death overs.
