As stated on the official website of Battlegrounds Mobile India, the new update will be released today i.e. January 14th, 2022. The rollout schedule of the update will be different for Android and iOS users, although, it is expected that the APK file will also go live around the same time.

Android: 14th January 12:30 PM IST- 8 PM IST

Players who download the APK file are recommended to have a Wi-FI connection to have a smooth download process. It is also worth mentioning here that the update rollout might be different in each device.

Expected file size

Players are requested to have enough space in their Android devices as the APK file size will be similar to the PUBG Mobile 1.8 update APK file size which had been revealed in their official discord server.

  • Players who are knocked out in the water will be able to swim as per the new gameplay mechanic.
  • Santorini, a new TDM map will be introduced where sixteen players can play at a single time.
