Maxxine Dupri has made a lot of strides in her professional career. From being a manager on NXT, she has become an in-ring performer on the main roster brands. While she may not be the greatest technical wrestler of all time, it would be wrong to say that she has not improved a lot. In addition to her career, the 27-year-old recently made a major move in her personal life as well.
Taking to Instagram, Maxxine Dupri announced that she got engaged to her real-life boyfriend and NXT star Anthony Luke. She posted photos of them on the beach kissing, embracing each other, and showing off her engagement ring.
Many WWE superstars were elated to hear this news and commented on her post. Superstars like Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, and Roxanne Perez all congratulated the couple. Former WWE superstars such as Brie Bella and Samantha Irvin were also seen celebrating. Furthermore, Cathy Kelley called the two of them her parents and expressed how happy she was for them.

Dupri’s fiancee, Anthony Luke, is a former defensive lineman for San Diego University. He tried out for the Stamford-based promotion shortly after SummerSlam 2023 and finally signed with the company earlier this year. He made his in-ring debut on the April 13th, 2024 episode of NXT, where he lost in a six-man tag team match. It is clear that he still has a long way to go before joining his future wife on the main roster.
Maxxine Dupri trolls Chad Gable amidst Alpha Academy’s rivalry with American Made
Maxxine Dupri is generally private about her personal life, but this news was too big to keep to herself. However, it appears that she may not get much time to celebrate as her current faction, Alpha Academy, is involved in a feud with Chad Gable and American Made.
A few days ago, Dupri wished her stablemate Otis on her birthday with a post on Instagram. She posted several photos alongside the Minnesotan, and some of these also included Chad Gable. However, she decided to troll the former Olympian by putting clown emojis on his face in every photo that he was present in.
Dupri has been a part of Alpha Academy for over 18 months now. Despite Gable leaving the group, she continues to be loyal to Akira Tozawa and Otis. Alongside the faction, she puts on hilarious skits and is unafraid to step into the squared circle whenever the promotion requires her to.
