For over two years, WWE star Big E has been out of in-ring action due to injury. He suffered a broken neck during a match on the March 11, 2022 episode of SmackDown. Despite suffering a life-threatening injury, there has always been hope for a return, and now the former WWE Champion has provided a major update on his health.

Speaking on Sports Talk Philly, The New Day member revealed that he is set to undergo several scans in the next 3 to 6 months. He said that his wrestling career depends entirely on the results of these scans. If they are positive, there is a very good chance of him returning to the ring.

I try not to spend too much time worrying about things I can’t control. It’s nice to know that if I get the opportunity to get back in the ring, and I can do it healthily, then let’s do that. Let’s attack it fully. But if not, I know exactly what I want to do, and I’m excited about that path, too.

The 38-year-old star added that he is not worrying about the scans at the moment. He is prepared to accept any kind of result. However, if there is a minute possibility of his comeback, he is ready to give his all, averred Big E.
