Surprisingly, a huge list of wrestling superstars have dabbled in the adult entertainment industry. From erotic magazines to shooting p*rnographic videos, WWE superstars have been involved in all forms of adult media. Even Shawn Michaels posed for Playgirl magazine while he was WWE Champion. However, someone who never entered this domain despite multiple requests was Trish Stratus.

Speaking on The Wrestling Time Machine, wrestling journalist Bill Apter was asked why Trish Stratus never posed nude for any such magazines. He believed that the major reason for her refusal to do so was probably because of her future children. Although she was not a mother when she received offers for Playboy, the 48-year-old would go on to have two kids.

Bill Apter speculated that Stratus did not want her future children to face the consequences of her actions. She would not have wanted somebody’s father handing them naked pictures of their mother in school. In addition to this, being perceived as a nude model was simply not an image she wanted to portray.

Although posing for Playboy is much less common in today’s world, wrestlers are still involved in adult entertainment, just through a different medium. Lacey Evans launched an OnlyFans account shortly after parting ways with WWE. The company still seems to be against such NSFW actions taken by their superstars. This is evident by their firing of Mandy Rose shortly after her FanTime account was discovered.

Teddy Long comments on Trish Stratus not posing naked for Playboy Magazines

During the same episode, the wrestling figure Teddy Long also shares his thoughts on the matter. He disagreed with Apter and thought that her kids were not the primary reason for her declining the offers. He prefaced his thoughts by saying that he loved Stratus and did not have any ill intentions toward her with his statements.

If Stratus did not want to pose for Playboy, then Long believed that it was rightfully her decision not to do so. However, the former SmackDown general manager believed that everybody had a price when it came to Playboy. He thought that the 7x Women’s Champion did not pose nude only because her price was not met by the publication.
