Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have always been at the centre of media scrutiny. The pair’s age difference, the former New England Patriots head coach being 73 and the model being 24, has been a taunting point for the critics.
Belichick and Hudson have made headlines throughout the last offseason and the season, prompting online media to mock them at every instance. As the new year rolled in, there wouldn’t be much change in people’s perspective about their relationship. However, the pair doesn’t bother too much about the outside noise. As far as Hudson is concerned, the noise is from “keyboard warriors.”
In a recent Instagram story, Hudson reshared an image of the duo clinking champagne flutes. The cheerleader captioned the image, “Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge’; yet, somehow everything changed.”
Belichick and Hudson reportedly met on a flight in 2021 and stayed friends, at least until the former’s breakup with Linda Holliday in 2023. It was not until a year later that People confirmed that the pair had been dating since 2023. Hudson’s note that 2026 would be their fourth calendar year is in line with this. She noted:
4th calendar year; Going strong. I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.

The duo has consistently been in the spotlight over the past year. The infamous CBS interview, in which Hudson interrupted Belichick, and Belichick later defended Hudson by clarifying that their connection extended beyond personal matters into professional collaboration, was a major plot line of that year. Needless to say, it didn’t do more to damage their public image than save it.
Additional scrutiny followed in the months that ensued. These included reports suggesting Hudson had been excluded from certain elite social circles in Nantucket, where Belichick’s former partner reportedly maintained a strong presence. Then there’s the Pablo Torre reports.
Meanwhile, Belichick’s first year as the head coach of the Tar Heels hasn’t gone well either. They had just four wins and finished just above Boston College and Syracuse in the ACC. Only two of those four wins came against conference opponents: Syracuse and Stanford. Stanford had the same overall record as the Tar Heels, so it’s not a lot to brag about either.
University of North Carolina long-time professor takes a swipe at Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson
The University of North Carolina is not happy with the way things have been progressing in Chapel Hill. The team’s 4-8 record is reason enough to be unhappy about. However, it’s not all. The UNC Tar Heels games have been about Jordon Hudson in the last season as she’s ever-present at their games.

Many fans and donors are frustrated with Hudson and how she has become the face of UNC. One of the many voices who are unhappy includes a longtime professor at the university. Christopher B. McLaughlin, Law and Government professor at the Tar Heels, reportedly sent an email to athletic director Bubba Cunningham with the subject line: “Please end this circus.”
When you agreed to pay a king’s ransom to hire Bill Belichick, did you also know that you were hiring Jordon Hudson to serve as the primary face of UNC athletics?
It is noteworthy how Hudson’s post has been the talking point despite the college transfer portal opening yesterday. After the season they had, UNC football must be active in the transfer portal ahead of Belichick’s second season.
With the portal remaining open for a fortnight, the UNC football team needs to fill the significant roster gaps created by graduating seniors and transfers. Several skill positions need more depth, and fans can only hope that conversations behind the curtain are much more serious than the ones in front of the media.
