Bill Belichick may not have landed any coaching job following his departure from the New England Patriots after 24 legendary years, but his second act in broadcasting appears to be flourishing. The veteran coach is set to join ‘Inside the NFL’ as an analyst for the upcoming 2024 season.

The 72-year-old’s coaching career ended on a bitter note but he eventually realized it was time to bid adios to it and embrace the next chapter. The CW Network announced that Belichick is joining ‘Inside the NFL’ as one of the analysts alongside Ryan Clark, Chad Johnson, and Chris Long

President of The CW Network Dennis Miller showered the former Patriots coach with high praises with the announcement by calling him “one of the most accomplished coaches in NFL history” and believes his knowledge in the field is truly unmatched.

I'm thrilled to join my new team at NFL Films and to work on such a historic television franchise. I've always appreciated 'Inside the NFL's' depth of analysis, and I hope to bring the same detailed insight to The CW by talking real football with real pros– Ryan, Chris and Chad– this coming season."

Throughout his coaching career, Belichick wasn’t known for his outspoken nature and for giving long, descriptive answers. But when he did come forward like in the 2019 NFL Films series “NFL 100 All-Time Team,” he got nominated for a Sports Emmy award.

The coming 2024 season will be the first season in a long time where Belichick will not be on the sidelines but that doesn’t mean he is leaving the NFL. He made his broadcasting debut on the Pat McAfee Show earlier this year to cover the 2024 NFL Drafts and is also set to appear on weekly episodes throughout the NFL season.

Shortly after that, the veteran head coach landed a deal with ESPN’s show ManningCast hosted by the legendary Manning brothers. Peyton Manning announced the news initially that Belichick is going to be the permanent guest on his show

Despite how his coaching career ended, Belichick didn’t take it as a failure and instead chose a different path which turned out to be a great decision as he’s enjoying life beyond football.
