The Miss Maine USA Pageant was Jordon Hudson’s opportunity to silence her critics for a time. Unfortunately, that was not meant to be. Bill Belichick had a front-row seat to how everything unfolded over the weekend in Long Island.

This was her second swipe in the competition. Last year, she missed out by a whisker by finishing second. She wanted to win this year badly.

Unfortunately, Hudson got off to a bad start. She lost the Miss Congeniality contest, which was a direct entry to the final round. As a result, she had to go through further evaluations to reach the final event.

Disappointment was waiting for the 24-year-old. Hudson stood at the back as Shelby Howell from Bangor took the crown of Miss Maine USA and will represent Maine in a nationwide competition with other regional winners.

Bill Belichick sat beside Hudson’s late 40s father near the front and later congratulated Howell for her victory.

Hudson, meanwhile, finished third. It was definitely not the result she was aiming for. Her body language reflected her mood. Her bodyguard revealed that she would not answer any questions, preventing reporters from speaking.

Instead of Hudson, Belichick took questions from the press. When asked to rate Hudson’s performance in the pageant, the eight-time Super Bowl winner gave a proper response.

We came up short. [It] wasn’t good enough. [We] gotta do a better job. Gotta strut better, smile better. Got to wear it better… gotta coach it better.

Some women possess a sixth sense that can predict the imminent future. Hudson may not be a clairvoyant, but she reportedly felt that the Miss Maine USA pageant was slowly slipping out of her hands.

Former ESPN journalist Pablo Torre spoke about Hudson’s fears on his podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out.

She has been very concerned, to the point of explicitly telling Bill Belichick and others that this whole disaster [CBS Morning Show questions]… is actively undermining her chances to win the Miss Maine competition.

Pablo Torre said

The reason behind the sudden fear of losing stemmed from her recent bad publicity. She was already in the crosshairs of trolls for dating Belichick, who could easily pass as her grandfather.

Her reputation took a big hit when she and Belichick appeared on the CBS Mornings Show for the launch of his new book, ‘Art of Winning.’ During the shoot, news leaked out that Hudson allegedly didn’t cooperate with the crew on the set and kept demanding to change the tone of the questions.

One source even claimed that Hudson stormed out after the production team stopped listening to her. This created ample commotion on social media.

She defended herself from the ongoing hate by retweeting proof and articles that supported her instead of the leaked rumors.

Former NFL quarterback turned analyst Robert Griffin III decided to support Belichick and Hudson with a fiery tweet.

The trolls haven’t stopped, and in all likelihood, it will increase after her third-place finish at the Miss Maine Pageant. However, that doesn’t mean old Bill is ready to sacrifice his relationship with the former college cheerleader. It’s a trying time, but love conquers everything.
